ROAD CLOSURES
Please note: Due to Health & Safety regulations, the Town Centre will be closed to all traffic from 4pm, which will include NO
PARKING ALONG THE CASTLE WALL IN WESTERN ROAD & DOCKY ROAD.
Roads will be closed along the entire route from 6.55pm, & will reopen as soon as the parade exits each sector, with the
exception of the section between Southgate Street & Guildhall Square which will be closed until 11pm.
CARNIVAL WINDOW COMPETITION
The annual spot the deliberate mistake & best dressed window competitions will run between Monday 5th & Friday 9th
October, with the results announced on Carnival night. Spot the deliberate mistake forms can be obtained from the VIC in
the White Hart Arcade, & Freckles pet shop. GOOD LUCK & BE CAREFUL CROSSING THE ROADS.
